On 27 March, CEIDSS took part in the launch of the Quality Standards for Child and Youth Mental Health Services, organised by WHO/Europe. Developed with the involvement of children, young people, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, these standards aim to improve the quality of mental health services across the WHO European Region by promoting safer, more accessible, and person-centred care.
The event gathered experts, organisations, and representatives from across the Region. CEIDSS was represented by its Director, Professor Ana Rito, underscoring the organisation’s active role in international initiatives that promote public health. This participation reflects CEIDSS’s ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of children and young people, in line with WHO guidelines, and contributes to the continuous improvement of community-based mental health services.
