The 2nd Conference of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nutrition and Childhood Obesity will take place on 1 and 2 October, at Teatro Thalia in Lisbon, bringing together leading national and international organizations working in the fields of nutrition, childhood obesity and public health.
Organized by the National Institute of Health Doutor Ricardo Jorge (INSA), through its WHO Collaborating Centre for Nutrition and Childhood Obesity, coordinated by Professor Ana Rito, and with the support of CEIDSS, the conference will provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing and discussion on key challenges and developments in nutrition and childhood obesity.
The event will feature the participation of several internationally recognized organizations, including the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP), the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Obesity Federation (WOF), the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) and UNICEF, alongside representatives from other governmental and non-governmental organizations.
